What are some major accomplishments you have had since your Sweet publication?
My first full length book was published in 2023, Once: A Golden Shovel Collection (Kelsay Books)
Can you tell us about a current/ongoing project that you’re excited about?
I’m working on my next book, dealing with the breast cancer I had six years ago.
Who is your favorite author?
That’s a tough one! I’ve read 3 of Claire Keegan’s in the past couple of years. Her two novellas are amazing.
What is your favorite poem/essay/book?
Maybe Robert Hayden’s “Those Winter Sundays” I also love Ross Gay’s work.
What inspires you to write?
Experiences. I have to put them on the page
What are you reading right now?
The Secret History of Wonder Woman by Jill Lapore
What is your favorite sweet?
Tiramisu
