What are some major accomplishments you have had since your Sweet publication?

I have, to my delight and great surprise, become a visual artist! very late-bloomer!

Can you tell us about a current/ongoing project that you’re excited about?

My first manuscript!

This question is impossible. I will offer some faves: Allison Benis White; Traci Brimhall; Kevin Prufer; Hadara Bar-Nadav; Patricia Smith; Kasey Jueds.

What is your favorite poem/essay/book?

Please Bury Me in This, by Allison Benis White; The Thicket by Kasey Jueds.

What inspires you to write?

A deep impulse.

What are you reading right now?

Everything by Hadara Bar-Nadav; Unalone by Jessica Jacobs; Paul Celan; Anselm Kiefer; The Feeling Sonnets by Ostashevsky.
