Maybe home is where you grew up, the way my husband always says he’s going home when he’s visiting northern England. Or it’s a particular house, a place you had to leave, your life with a beloved.

We will meet 5 weeks, first for introductions and discussion of my workshop methods and expectations, and then four times for workshop. I will email you a writing prompt on 10/15; your first poem or short creative nonfiction piece will be due 10/22 and you will be required to email it to me and your classmates; and we will begin workshop on 10/29 so everyone will have had a week to read and think about their fellow participants’ work. (Don’t worry; this is how I ran in-person classes, so I have a schedule, which I’d be happy to send to you.)
